GoodBye... Not Really! :)

Image
Doorbell rang! With him on my mind, I rushed to take the door. And indeed he was, with some satchel kind a thing he was trying to hide. “All set?” “Not really, just packing up stuffs. It will go on till the last minute.” Though reluctant, I dragged him up. He was not the usual darling today. On those regular hangouts, he kept up the mood and I was always at the receiving end. Today he was offbeat! Looking at the mess I made of my room, he suddenly retorted, “Whoaaa! I don’t think there’s place for me. I better sit outside.” “Shut up and adjust yourself on the couch. Or better, help me pack.” And I handed him over this carton of gifts and books. He slowly pulled in and I started pooling my books for him to set them well in it.  “Gosh you read so much fiction and you want them all with you in Chennai. Why?” “I have to be there for atleast a year if not more, the job is so. So settling a ‘sansaar’ is necessary for that homely feel. And plus you wo...

To the Dreams, To the Eternity, To the HIMALAYAS!!

The World is full of adventure and fun. Every new turn we take get ahead as a new challenge. And yes I was talking about life; though even the rikshawallas may come up that way. As the famous saying goes, “Life’s once, enjoy while you can” . So make sure we have our own share of adventure. The message beeped “ What is your crazy dream?” Giving thought for a while, I responded “To go out unperturbed, no bothering, no works and no thoughts on the roads to the Himalayas” “That wasn’t crazy till you mentioned the Himalayas. If you remember you stay in the centre of India and without being disturbed how can like go off for a long long time.” “Wish I could just go.” “In your dreams…” “Yeah! In my dreams…” was the last I could write at 2 am. The next morning, the alarm kept ticking and my eyes felt heavy to be opened. But then there is life, there’s work. I got into the showers and then into the closet and then out in the cab, rushing away to the hospital. Today ...

TRESSES!! Loving them! :) :)

I belong to a hot and dry climate area and so I hate those high temperatures.  But when I went to Mumbai last weekend for my exams, I instantly started hating the tremendous humidity . And that was coz of the sweats and frizz on my hair. Oh Man! I so don't like the frizz. And through trying to work out on them. I realised I had received this sample for ramp ready styling. Tresemme Smooth and Shine pair of shampoo and conditioner. Just then I thought, let me put it on test now. And with those wire kinda hair, I washed my hair with this pair. Like the magician that it works, the texture that was before the wash, the roughness all was washed off leaving it smooth and shiny. The difference was pretty evident and stayed for long. I could feel my mane. I could go through my hair with my fingers and feel the smoothness which was like a dream for me in humidity that kind. Having a short hair, I could hardly do any styling for them. But then later I thought lets put them ramp ready w...

Perfect Straight for the Perfect feel!

May be I am the last person to be writing on this... but this is surely after using it for a few times and realising what Yuko has done for us is totally AWESOME!! Yes I am a frizzy haired girl who has always had problems when going out about sporting any hairdo. I guess my only worry has at times been my hair which for many girls is clothes or make up. Usually tying them up is my best resort, but I envy the other chics around who can easily hang down their hair and go about it without worrying about looking any different than what they do the moment they get ready. But now... and now for all those parties, I can walk around frizz free, silky and manageable. Loving the hairdo I have ready for the party. Sunsilk Perfect Straight has got me solutions. Truly speaking, it actually doesn't make hair straight or I think with the curls like mine, no shampoo can make it straight. Still I can say they make me frizz free thought not straight and it helping turns my broom kinda hair into a...
