M "UMMM" BAI!!!


Back in Sewagram…I was so exhausted…of all the heat and the routine college times…every 6 months I need a break from the monotonous life I have…and then a city which changes lives of many…did provide me that much needed change…hence…Mumbai is not just that…but M “UMMM” BAI from now on for me…

Since I couldn’t go to MEDICON this time…I had to get out of Vidarbha…coz that’s the one place I keep going to and fro (Of course I love it) …Nagpur-Sewagram-Nagpur…still had to go on a new route…and then Mumbai is that one safe route for me…easy and approachable…importantly…I knew dad will send me there…so decided on coming here…and indeed…barring the journey of the start…all the trip has been just UMMMM!!! (I mean that to be lovely)…

Though I have been to Mumbai many a times…this was different…I am always accompanied by someone…but this time I was all alone…traversing this big city alone…plus to add on…I also went to Pune…and that was one city I had never been to…so kinda adventurous outing too…

About Mumbai…it is really a city of dreams…people here are so many…with all the crowd always around you…but the best part is no one here bothers about anyone else…they just are so into their own self that they don’t care what others have to do…this is one thing I really liked…coz then we get all the freedom of doing whatever I wish to do…enjoy…roam around…wear anything whatsoever…no one has enough time to even glance at you…

This place is so widespread…that just to go from one place to other we may need to travel an hour or two…but that again is fun…coz transport here is…people’s favorite…LOCAL…it’s actually so awesome that even a travel of an hour doesn’t seem long…vivid kind of people we get to meet in there…I bet it’s the best place to see all types of people residing in Mumbai…

Then there are this very famous areas of Andheri, Bandra, Dadar, Churchgate, etc etc…which have it all…come food come shopping…it gives you all…Bandra’s Linking Road is one such great place…it has stuff for all…commoners and biggies…I just loved it…

To tell you all…I had known this all before…but truly explored it all by myself this time…learning to travel in the locals…moving to places in Autos…shopping all alone…trying bargaining even though m very bad at it…and the final feat..Going to PUNE…knowing nothing of it…but then my friend there helped explore me that even…and have the very yummy CAD-B (A chocolate shake with a difference) there…

Back in Mumbai I met many a people…surprised quite a few actually…they had not anticipated me coming there…that too all alone…

Truly I enjoyed every aspect of this wonderful place in totality…and rejoiced being solitary…unescorted…a very dear friend told me the how having a holiday by oneself can be fun and seriously boss…its amusing…moreover rejuvenating…these 8 days I spent here were full of travel and fun…

I can say…these holidays worked as an antidote to the college overdose…and also a compensation for the six months of steady life…

Oh the pain of this distance! It keeps you apart but strengthens your soul! Not many can understand this trouble and I hope not many are going through it. Distances make you grow fond, but at the cost of that one thing, distance. Well the story goes; I fell in love with this amazing amazing man who incidentally stays miles away. Love! A feeling indescribable! Have been a big movie buff and romances being favorite. Have grown up to them, the Bollywood songs, beautiful locations and superlative dialogues which make you fall in love. No doubt Shahrukh is my favorite. Getting goosebumps seeing DDLJ is how I have learnt what love is. Seeing Raj take over his ladylove is how I realised what love is.
