VeLLoRe VoYaGe!! (Day 2)



Now we all were in the normal stage…I got up early and then…woke up all…and further…all set we went to commence the sessions of the day…again…the first half…we understood few things but not all coz still we just knew few basics about the theme…we kept gazing at people just and taking 10% of what they told…lunch time…was a mixed reaction thing now…for we merry on getting time off…but were equally pissed off coz of the food…still…being the jolly 4…we din’t let the things go bad for us…

Afternoon…a session on one my favorite thing…literature search…and a great deal learnt of it...new stuffs like Zotero and all came to light...indeed Vasu Ma'am can be considered to be a biggest literature search expert in India...

But an evening lecture by an Australian doctor, journalist…real cliché of the day…the way he spoke…the way he conducted the talk…the inspiration he gave us…actually imprinted a mark of awareness in our minds which did become the talk for the rest of the day…

When we were going to the famous Sripuram temple there…we were quite actively discussing on this…now the temple…a real beauty indeed…sculpting, architecture…all was just wow…sad that we were not allowed any electronic thing inside to capture this marvelous place…but really it was an awesome place…breath-taking…from there we went to the city…now it was a long journey and how could we stay still…so I was targeted there coz on our seat in the bus was written “Gundu-Gowtham”…here gundu was me and gowtham was suppose to be my boyfriend…huh…we don’t let any occasion go out of hand…we got to town and decided on having south-indian food instead of trying something north here…why take a risk…and hence we went to hotel Aarthi…and had…the very good looking dosa cone…served on banana leaves…a typical south feel…and there Ajgad tried out…cola with ice-cream…something different and new for me…

We then went to the famous hospital and institute there…Christian Medical College a.k.a. CMC…at 11.30 night…the security guards there made it a point to alert each other on 4 of us being there so late that too just to see this infirmary…weirdness is the part and parcel of the our nature…we were so in the conference the whole day that we had to explore the place in late evenings only…the hospital was such a good place…a setup which was high in standards and equipped with all the facilities…indeed a place which sets an example for all other colleges in India…we roamed around the huge campus and went back to our guest house at around 2…making a decision of bunking the first session coz it was all gynaecology and we all din’t have any interest in it…and so we chose for the vellore trip…
